Melissa Madrigal

I am the Director of Research for the International UFO Bureau (IUFOB) and the creator of MadiSphere, where I explore the hidden forces shaping human biology, consciousness, and the unknown.

My research bridges the gap between genetics, bioelectrical energy, and high-strangeness phenomena, uncovering how Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and other rare conditions may be linked to heightened sensory perception, a phenomenon reported by many with EDS.

This exploration has led to scientific findings that challenge traditional models of perception, frequency, and contact.

My research also explores how plasma physics, electromagnetic frequencies, and human consciousness intersect with anomalous experiences, interdimensional contact, and government secrecy.

But before I was a researcher, I was a patient. One who had to fight to uncover the truth about my own health when the medical system failed me.

From Patient to Researcher: A Relentless Pursuit of Answers

When I was four years old, I broke my arm, and during the X-ray, doctors discovered a rare bone cyst affecting my bone marrow. After two failed surgeries, my parents faced a difficult choice. Try a third surgery or leave it alone, knowing it might break again. We chose to leave it, expecting it to resolve by adulthood. But now, at 31, the cyst not only remains but has progressively deteriorated.

Shortly after that injury, I started experiencing mysterious chronic symptoms, severe pain, digestive issues, and a weak immune system that left me constantly sick. My parents took me to doctor after doctor, but no one could figure out what was wrong.

At age 11, I began having crippling leg pain, sometimes struggling to walk. Doctors called it “growing pains,” but as I got older, it was clear something else was going on. By my teenage years, my immune system had weakened further, leaving me vulnerable to constant infections.

At 15, I developed a severe case of Epstein-Barr virus, which lingered for a year and sent my health into a downward spiral. Afterward, I developed gallbladder issues, stomach inflammation, and worsening digestive pain. I was shuffled through the medical system, only to hear the same frustrating response: “Your test results are normal.”

Despite my worsening condition, doctors insisted my symptoms were either stress related or in my head.

Years of Searching & Finding Answers

With no help from traditional medicine, I turned to alternative medicine, working with acupuncturists, functional medicine practitioners, naturopaths, chiropractors, herbalists, biologists, and mental health specialists to piece together what was happening in my body. I studied Chinese medicine, herbal remedies, and body energy flow. These treatments helped manage my symptoms, but I still never fully healed.

At 23, I had my appendix removed, but instead of improving, my health crashed. My weight plummeted to 93 pounds, I developed severe fatigue, muscle weakness, and nerve pain, and walking became increasingly difficult.

I was now dealing with:

🔶 Severe weakness

🔶 Heart palpitations & blood pressure instability

🔶 Neurological issues & chronic dizziness

🔶 Worsening digestive problems

🔶 Frequent infections & autoimmune-like symptoms

🔶 Anxiety & sensory overstimulation

At 26, after relentless self-advocacy, I was diagnosed with Pelvic Organ Prolapse, a condition where my bladder, uterus, and rectum had weakened. But this was only part of the puzzle.

With no clear answers, I took matters into my own hands. I began studying genetics, human anatomy, and rare diseases, refusing to accept that there were no answers. That’s when I discovered Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). A rare genetic disorder affecting connective tissue.

At 28, I was finally diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), dysautonomia, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). A trifecta of conditions that explained every symptom I had experienced for decades.

But this diagnosis didn’t come easily. For years, doctors dismissed my symptoms, telling me it was anxiety, stress, or simply “all in my head.” They refused to listen, running the same surface level tests that never showed anything conclusive.

I refused to accept their indifference. I pushed relentlessly, researching on my own, documenting my symptoms, and advocating for myself until they had no choice but to listen. I demanded the right tests, and when they finally did them, the results spoke for themselves.

I wasn’t imagining it. I had been right all along.

This experience solidified what I had always known: when it comes to complex, poorly understood conditions, you have to fight for your own answers.

When Medicine Fails, We Find the Answers Ourselves

Even with my diagnosis, my health continued to decline. At 30, I became mostly bedridden, in constant, excruciating pain, unable to eat, and barely able to function. I knew there was more to my story, so I kept searching.

That’s when we discovered:

🔶 Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome (SMAS) – A rare vascular disorder where arteries compress the intestines, making eating painful and difficult.

🔶  Nutcracker Syndrome (NCS) – A condition where the left renal vein is compressed, causing severe pain and circulation issues.

🔶 Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS) [suspected] – A vascular disorder causing chronic pelvic pain and dysfunction.

These conditions are common in EDS patients, yet no doctor had ever put the pieces together. I had to do it myself. I had to force the medical system to take me seriously.

My relentless pursuit of answers taught me how broken the medical system is. How little doctors know about complex conditions, and how easily patients are dismissed. But it also proved my strength. I fought for my life, I found my answers, and now I use my knowledge to help others do the same.

MadiSphere: Investigating The Hidden Connections

Since childhood, I’ve had an uncanny awareness of energies, an innate ability to perceive things beyond the physical world. I would sense presences before they appeared, pick up on emotions unspoken, and see glimpses of what others could not. Strange, vivid dreams would later unfold in reality, and moments of deep knowing would strike with undeniable accuracy.

As I connected with others who shared similar perceptions, I realized that this was more than intuition, it was a heightened sensitivity to the unseen. My ability to perceive subtle energies, spirits, and information beyond the ordinary senses wasn’t just an anomaly; it was part of something much larger.

Many with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome report similar abilities, patterns of heightened perception, extrasensory awareness, and an unusual connection to electromagnetic fields. This wasn’t just personal experience, it was a recurring phenomenon that demanded deeper exploration.

This realization led me to dive into the science

Through my research, I explore:

🔶The genetic and bioelectrical factors behind heightened perception

🔶The role of plasma, energy fields, and frequency in human biology

🔶The suppression of advanced scientific discoveries

🔶The link between consciousness, ESP, and interdimensional experiences

🔶The deep connections between EDS, UFO encounters, and high-strangeness phenomena

Collaborating with Top Minds in UFO Disclosure & Research

This work led me into the world of UFO disclosure, where I now collaborate with Mindy Tautfest and The International UFO Bureau (IUFOB), working alongside aerospace experts, government insiders, and former intelligence operatives to uncover the reality behind UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena).

In 2025, I became the first researcher to confirm a recurring 5.04 Hz electromagnetic pulse signature, with a full harmonic ladder underneath, across two separate UAP sightings. This structured frequency signal marks a breakthrough in how we identify and decode intelligent aerial anomalies.

I now analyze declassified documents, investigate suppressed research, and uncover the hidden intersections between human consciousness, non-human intelligence, and government secrecy.

Doctors once told me my symptoms were “all in my head.” Now, I work with leading experts investigating signals that may originate from beyond this world.

Why This Matters

My journey has been anything but ordinary. From being dismissed by doctors to uncovering my own diagnosis, from battling debilitating conditions to leading groundbreaking research, I have never stopped searching for the truth. What started as a personal quest for medical answers has transformed into a mission to uncover deeper truths about human biology, consciousness, and reality itself. And now, I share that journey with the world.

For those who have ever felt dismissed, misunderstood, or like they are experiencing something “more," MadiSphere is for you.

It’s time to question, explore, and reclaim the knowledge that has been hidden for far too long.

International UFO Bureau

The International UFO Bureau (IUFOB), founded in 1957 by Hayden C. Hewes, is one of the oldest UFO research organizations dedicated to investigating Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs). Over the decades, IUFOB has played a critical role in collecting and preserving evidence of unexplained encounters, ensuring that historical data remains accessible for modern research.

Now, under the leadership of Mindy Tautfest, IUFOB is entering a new era of investigation. Mindy, a well-respected figure in the field of UFOlogy and anomalous research, is expanding IUFOB’s mission with a renewed focus on scientific inquiry, technological advancements, and public engagement. Her expertise and leadership are set to modernize the organization’s approach, integrating historical archives with cutting-edge analysis and collaborations with researchers worldwide.

IUFOB, now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, continues its mission with a commitment to transparency, ethical research, and the pursuit of credible evidence regarding UFOs, UAPs, and their potential implications for human knowledge, national security, and technological progress. Through strategic partnerships and public education initiatives, IUFOB seeks to influence global awareness and preparedness for potential contact with non-human intelligence.
